The Experiments and Science for SNOLAB

August 21st & 22nd, 2006

Our Vth SNOLAB workshop will be hosted at the facility's new surface building, commencing at 8:30 am on Monday, August 21, 2006 and adjourning, for general participants, on Tuesday, August 22, 2006. The main goals of the workshop are:

1. To evaluate the status and progress on SNOLAB development and individual projects proposed for SNOLAB,
2. To implement a SNOLAB User’s Group, and
3. To further develop the scientific program for SNOLAB.

Participants could arrive on Saturday or Sunday the 19-20th of August, with workshop sessions held on the 21st & 22nd of August. There is a banquet dinner planned for the Monday evening on the 21st. Underground tours of SNO are planned to follow the workshop with two tour slots available during the morning (7:00 am - 12:00 pm) and afternoon (1:00 pm - 5:00 pm) of Wednesday, August 23rd.
